Description Join Milkwood Permaculture's Nick Ritar as he leads you through 2 days of permaculture design theory and action. You will leave this course ready to sink your teeth into a bunch of permaculture projects and be in an informed position to do further research and learning in ecological design. This course will give you a comprehensive overview of how to apply pro-active, sustainable design techniques to your immediate environment - whether you live in a small apartment, a quarter-acre block, or a rural property. DescriptionRahamim Ecological Learning Centre is a beautiful heritage building set amid established grounds, perched on 'St Josephs Mount', overlooking Bathurst city. Formerly known as 'Logan Brae', this grand building has been a family home, a nunnery and a Mercy and Justice Centre over the years. Rahamim co-ordinates an extensive workshop program alongside its ongoing work with refugees, the UN council on climate change, and the provision of ecological resources for the wider Bathurst community.
Accommodation at the venue: For a very reasonable fee, you can stay at Rahamim during your course, taking dinner and breakfast at the center as part of your stay. Take the Great Western Highway up through the Blue Mountains, and, well, just keep going until you arrive in Bathurst.
