yourself, your family and the planet. A jam-packed weekend of
information, techniques, a site visit to Sydney's oldest Community Permaculture Garden
and great feasts of organic food, all within a comfortable walk from public transport.
This course will be taught by Nick Ritar, an award-winning educator of
community technologies and strategies for communication, and co-founder
of Milkwood Permaculture, providing practical, ecological, do-able
solutions for sustainable living and development. All previous editions
of this course have sold out quick smart - so come along, and start
your process of skilling-up for adaptation in a changing world....
Prior to attending your course, you might like to take a look at our ever-expanding reading list,
a bunch of recommended and practical texts on various aspects of
Permaculture, community resilience and sustainability... because you
cannot arm yourself with too much good information... none of these texts are pre-requisite for our Intro courses, we just like to be able to provide a bunch of suggestions on background reading, incase you're champing at the bit to get going...

Getting there by bus:
Catch a 470 from Railway Square at Central, and get off at Balmain Rd
(end of the route). Walk north up Balmain Rd for less than 5 minutes,
and Orange Grove PS is on your left, on the corner of Perry St - see Venue Map for directions.
Getting there by train: Catch the train to Lilyfield and walk 5 mins to venue - see Venue Map for directions.
Getting there by car:
Parking in the Lilyfield area is a bit of a nightmare, and the venue for
this course will have no designated parking. May we suggest that you take
public transport to this event.
Course fee includes all educational materials, two generous organic home-made lunches (made with produce from
Milkwood Farm wherever possible),
and all the tea, coffee and snacks you will need while thinking,
learning and absorbing this great two day course.
