A two-day course held in central Sydney over the weekend of October 27-28 2007. This course introduces permaculture design, as it applies to the
Australian home, garden and workplace in all its shapes and sizes....
Over this weekend you will learn how to apply sustainable design techniques to your immediate environment, whether you live in an inner city apartment, a quarter-acre block, or a thousand acre farm.
Covering organic food production, system design (and re-design) for
comfort and lower energy consumption, and how to approach a sustainable
existence within your neighbourhood, wherever you may be.
Come and learn practical strategies to better care and provide for yourself, your family and the planet. A jam-packed weekend of information, techniques, a site visit and great piles of
middle-eastern food, all within a comfortable walk from Sydney Central station.

This course will be taught by Nick Ritar, an award-winning educator of
community technologies and strategies for communication, and co-founder
of Milkwood Permaculture, providing practical, ecological, do-able
solutions for sustainable living and development.
Course dates: Saturday 27th + Sunday 28th October, 2007
Course times: 9.30am - 5pm each day
Course fee: $150 + GST
Course location: suite 202, 267-271 Cleveland Street, Surry Hills (between Chalmers and Elizabeth St)
Course fee includes all educational materials, two generous lunches,

learning and absorbing this great two day course.
